wisdom and sisterhood

A Reconnection, awakening and nurturing of Shakti or Feminine Energy.

In 2008 and 2009, Jo and Peewee (Yogafirst) offered an intensive 9 day retreat for radical yoginis to reconnect to themselves and their yoga practice in a beautiful, natural and peaceful setting in Bali and a supportive, empowering environment.

We connected to the divine feminine through a radical rethink of Hatha Yoga respecting the female body, Himalayan Kriya Yoga, Tantra, Yoga Nidra, Womb Yoga and Restorative Yoga practices.  This retreat formed part of a radical rethinking of our Yoga Teacher Training Syllabus and formed the final YTT module for many of our graduates.
